Taco Burgers



Ingredients
1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
1 packet (1 oz) McCormick’s Organic Taco Seasoning
1 egg
Cheddar cheese
Mission Gluten Free Soft Taco Tortillas
Toppings:
Romaine lettuce
Guacamole
Salsa
Sour Cream
Directions
Gently mix together the ground beef, one 1 oz packet of taco seasoning, and 1 egg. We used 90% lean ground beef. Form into 1/4 pound patties. Grill the burgers to your preference; for medium, cook about 6 minutes on each side. Once flipped, put the cheese on top. When the burgers are done, let sit for 5 minutes.
To prepare the burger for serving, in the center of the tortilla add your favorite taco toppings—we used lettuce, guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. Then, on top of the “toppings”, place the burger, cheese side down. Fold the tortilla over, like a hexagon, with each edge meeting in the middle. They will not want to stay, so heat the burger and tortilla fold side down in a pan until golden and crispy. For extra crunch, flip and heat the top side as well. Serve with a side of your choice; we used yummy sweet potato fries!
