Spicy Chicken Tacos

Ingredients

3 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 bell peppers

½ of a white onion

2 ½ cups salsa verde

1 jalapeño

1 avocado

1 lime


Directions

Marinate the chicken in two cups of salsa verde for a minimum of 1 hour, but as usual, the longer you marinate, the more flavorful the meat! Then, cook the chicken about 6-7 minutes per side over medium heat on the stove. For extra flavor, add the marinade into the pan with the uncooked chicken. While that is cooking, sauté 2 bell peppers and half of a white onion for about 10-12 minutes over medium-high heat, or until the onions are translucent and the bell peppers have some light brown coloring. To prepare the tortillas, warm each one individually 10 seconds each side over medium heat. Fill the tortillas with chicken and peppers. Top with avocado, jalapeño, salsa verde, and fresh lime juice.
